While not endorsing any candidate, nor any government at all, the flip flop of the US population is quite interesting. In 1941-1945, the US government fought with the Russians against the Nazis, but now the US government fights against the Russians in defense of Nazis. In 1960-1964, the US population voted for a Kennedy and against a warmonger (Goldwater lost to LBJ, but LBJ was clearly still riding the JFK coattails), despite the support of admitted "Goldwater Girl" Hillary Clinton, but now the voting public is voting in record numbers (cough) to support a lifelong warmonger while deriding a Kennedy. Someone is doing a great job of controlling the populace. I wonder who?
