Thank you for this post, Asher. This almost perfectly sums up my own experience with the AMA-that-wasn't and my feelings after the community chat. The last time I saw this much engagement and energy from

Yes, it's definitely interesting to learn all these things about places I never thought I'd see. I guess what amazes me is how easy things are here, compared to me trying to survive in the U.S. I never

Thank you! 😊 I'm going to try to learn more about her story and I'll share it when I do.

@marcybetancourt, I ain't gonna lie--that plane thing scared the bejezus out of me. I said things I was downright ashamed of later. 😂

Thank you! So far, I am completely charmed by this country. It is indeed beautiful.

Thank you! Chefchaouen is definitely on our list. It's been recommended to us multiple times and there's no way we can't not see it for ourselves. 😊 The culture shock here is definitely real. If I hadn't

Just when I think you're written my favorite poem, you go and write one to top it. This is fantastic, Katrina.

This is absolutely stunning, Katrina. The imagery-- it takes my breath. Beautiful.

Oh, the writing is definitely all yours, and you should be very, very proud of it! We were glad to help. But that's what multi-pass editing is all about, and it works. It's putting our work through the

Well said, Katrina, as always. I agree with you on every single point. I am quite patriotic and, like you, love the founding principles of the USA. But they're long gone. It's a place barely recognizable

Yes they are thick, tangled questions, ones I'd hoped we would never have to face in our lifetimes.

Also, the following statement absolutely nails my concern. In the interest of brevity, there were several paths I didn't go down in my exploration of this topic. But yes, yes, yes, and yes to your thoughts

Oh, I do hope we get to meet in person...sooner or later, in one dispensation or the next. :-) I excluded a ton of information in this post that echoes the sentiment you've shared, so I'm really glad you
