Liverpool have a tough tie this weekend taking on Brighton in the week's first premier league game after having played against Inter Milan in mid week. In contrast, Man City only play on Tuesday so they

And then I got beaten back as I was within touching distance of gaining promotion. It might still be possible actually without having to rent Alric again. It was a couple of losses in a row before I found

Compared to the last couple of seasons, this season, I have managed to promote beyond Silver III before the last day of the season. This has meant earning at least one extra rewards chest per day for 6

I don't know why but my battles today just made me think about what kind of game Splinterlands really is. The card choices are all made at the beginning of the game and no decisions are made during the

I was just saying how I couldn't see myself getting back into Silver II in yesterday's post and today I got back in. Life quests are now becoming good for me recently. I'm figuring it out slowly but there's

I think this is the first time I have seen it for myself - an actual pack in the rewards! Finally, all those potions collected along the way will be put to good use. Let's see what I get. Well, nothing

First I got the Fire Quest today which caused me to lose my first couple of matches. I then switched to the Death Quest which is a little better for me although not ideal. Started with a couple of losses

Managed to keep myself in Silver II which was pretty surprising because I got the Earth quest which is not one that I like. Strange how Alric is my favorite with his +1 magic but Obsidian's +1 magic doesn't

I liked the idea of General Sloan when it was first launched. Now we have a +1 boost to range attacks with the Life Splinter which has the best range attackers in my opinion, anyway. But after a while,

A new season begins and sometimes a lot of it rhymes with the old season. Managed to secure promotion to Silver III thanks to my rented Alric. It wasn't the easiest battling as I got a lot of unfavorable

As it has been in the past couple of seasons, I decided to rent an Alric to help me climb up to Silver I and end the season with 18 chests. I wouldn't have been able to do it without one as I can't get

I can't seem to get promoted to Silver II even with Alric this season. I suppose I will eventually get it done by sticking to the Water splinter and using Alric whenever possible. The Snipe Quest which

Well, the usual problem of promoting beyond Silver III is still there for me. It is relatively easy to get into Silver III but to get beyond that it is almost impossible as it is one step forward and one

As the title says, it was a very difficult day on the quest with my quest for the day being the Snipe quest. Looks like it is a case of history repeating itself. I will probably be unable to make my way

One of the most challenging rulesets is the combination of earthquake and poison. If you don't have the cards for it, you are looking at 4 damage each round for each of your monsters. That is brutal. This

Not very good rewards today. Only 5 Dec and a Pelacor Deceiver but at least it was the Neutral Quest which means only needing to get 3 wins and being done with it. Unfortunately, it was tougher than it

Promoting to Silver so early is one thing but staying in Silver may not be so easy. Today, I got the Water Quest and it is quite a happy coincidence given that today is the last day of my Alric Stormbringer

Today, I managed to get myself into Silver III which is really quite fast compared to previous seasons. The problem always though, is getting a string of wins to move up the ladder. It always eventually

As with the last couple of season, it is a mad dash on the last day of the season with my rented Alric. It was particularly annoying because I kept getting battles where I couldn't use the water splinter.

The last day of the season is approaching and I am unable to get to Silver I with Bortus or my other summoners. Time to fall back on the old strategy of renting Alric for two days and then letting him
