Nice analysis. Maybe an even better example instead of the social media reputation are MMPORGs. In those game very regularly there are items which can be exchanged for exorbitant amounts of real world

Centralization: Single stakeholder has all the power (If Sun would use the Steem Power to vote on witnesses) Decentralization: Witnesses make decisions to guarantee the decentralization of the chain (What

Anyway I can contribute portuguese and german to it?

Small bug report: When I go to "all posts" and then refresh the page, it resets me to a different page.

Maybe we should check who of the orcas is not witness voting and do some shaming? =P

Might be nice if Steemit Inc would tweet this one here to, so that Justin Sun can retweet it.

Furthermore, we are on an imminent path of a hard fork or merge into TRON. Get ready. Stop spreading FUD

It seems your bot has some issues with: Footers (always a 100% match) Reposts to other frontends (three speak etc)

In this paper they assume DPoS got 51% as well:

I believe they were asked to not issue a press release by their new boss until things are sorted out. As far as I heard the team is letting out some info to the witnesses about what is happening but they

Yes I know what PoS here is used for compared to the "real PoS". I still didn't know that Steem/EOS/Bitshare use a 2phase protocol that collects two quorums from the majority (2f+1) of witnesses

Only thing missing is the explanation how it is possible that a fork happens and the correct nodes are split between both of them. However, I did not know that Graphene blockchains use a Pos/PBFT hybrid.

If you do the math, they would just have to spread their stake to be able to vote in 20 witnesses. However, what you can't forget is that with 30 votes, you create more overlap making it more difficult.

I do strongly believe that Steemit Inc. can't actually issue any official statements because they probably don't fully know what is going to happen.
