After almost a month long wait ended on June 15, 2016 when Ethereum released Wallet 0.7.5 (Beta 19) AKA MIST. What a relief! Compared to 0.7.4 this is much easier and lot faster to sync.
Following are the big WOWs!
- Sync time < 2 hrs compared to more than 8-10 hrs of for 0.7.4
- While I am waiting it to sync, it gives me a nice information Ethereum Concepts.
- No need to start geth separately!
- The first screen asks to chose network - testnet / mainnet which means no need to pass any command line parameters to geth!
