Two cityscapes from St.Petersburg: at the central street and in the unusual yard. (I was enjoying my wide angle lens on that day). I decided these go better as #monochrome. What do you think? Два городских

Some days are better than others. For us here, at our summer house, it means being productive, being able to fill the day with as much things as possible (both housework and pleasant entertainment). And

Today I share a few impressions I brought from 'Solyanoi gorodok' arts-and-trades festival I visited in 2024. The festival is held annually by a vocational school, and it definitely helps children with

Today our brave kittie snatched the cheese from my morning sandwich. I paused my coffee for 3 minutes and walked away — that was enough for his bandit action. He is always vigilant and alert to any changes

Greeting! For this #fungifriday I share fresh mushroom impressions from August encounters (all fungi you see in the post appeared right at my place). Nobody was harmed.

The Baltic sea coast at Terijoki is the closest point I can get to touch the World Ocean. The land of sand and boulders, pines and seagulls. Look what I found during my walk around the tide this April.

One day, God sent a crow a piece of cheese... well, to be precise today it was not a crow, but two snails; and not cheese, but a sweet, juicy raspberry; also it wasn't a God but a man with a camera --

Physalis is an edible and decorative garden plant, but I'm obsessed mainly with its decorative function. When matured, its fruits are all spectre of orange color, very fancy (orange is my fave colour).

Most part of the captures done with my wife's smartphone camera. (In spring she obtained last year's Xiomi 15T which was the last year's flagman model - and I should say, it does the job very well, in
