Fear means you miss your next attack. If any Axies on your team do an attack, it counts as one fear charge. So if your front Axie is in fear, but your middle Axie uses a card first, then fear will go away

Most great players can bring any archetype to 2k+ if it's built properly. Lately im running a Scaly Spoon team using two plants which is pretty fun

5 -> 9 -> 15 seems like the best way to do it, I agree with you. imo it isn't worth it to use any more energy for levelups after a player can beat ruin 15 comfortably, at that point it'll be better
