Today, I continue sharing some of the creations presented at the end of the semester at the University of Arts. This time, I bring you the graphic arts students' exhibition, a series of prints made using the linocut technique. This is a demonstration of the quality of the artistic work of the new students who continue to revive graphic arts techniques in Venezuela. Hoy contin煤o compartiendo algunas de las creaciones presentadas en el final de semestre en la universidad de artes, en esta ocasi贸n les traigo la muestra de los estudiantes de artes gr谩ficas, un seriado de impresiones realizadas con la t茅cnica de linograbado; esta es una demostraci贸n de la calidad del trabajo art铆stico de los nuevos estudiantes que contin煤an reavivando las t茅cnicas de las artes gr谩ficas en Venezuela.
I also had the opportunity to appreciate the work of two classmates who made object-books. The first was Alejandro, who kept a kind of log of his creative process to develop the characters, which he then captured using graphic arts techniques such as lithography, woodcut, and linocut. In his line of research, he explores dreams, oneiricism, and surrealism, expressing his ideas through printmaking. Tambi茅n tuve la oportunidad de apreciar el trabajo de dos compa帽eros de clases que realizaron unos libro-objetos, el primero fue Alejandro que hizo una especie de bit谩cora de su proceso creativo para desarrollar los personajes que plasmo luego usando t茅cnicas de artes gr谩ficas como la Litograf铆a, xilograf铆a y linograbado; en su l铆nea de investigaci贸n explora un poco con los sue帽os, lo on铆rico y el surrealismo plasmando sus ideas mediante el grabado.
The following book object was made by our friend Aranza, who elevated her presentation to a more performative level, creating a more theatrical scene to showcase her creation. The content of her book shows us her artistic process, which has served cathartically to shed the Catholic dogmas instilled by her family. In art, she found a window to vent everything she disagrees with within her religious sphere. Without a doubt, this was a very interesting and captivating art exhibition that allows you to delve into the authors' unconscious; I hope you enjoy this post. Good vibes. El siguiente libro objeto fue realizado por la amiga Aranza quien elevo su presentaci贸n a un nivel m谩s perform谩tico creando una escena m谩s teatral para mostrar su creaci贸n, el contenido de su libro nos muestra su proceso art铆stico que le ha servido de manera cat谩rtica para desprenderse de dogmas cat贸licos inculcados por su generaci贸n familiar, ella en el arte encontr贸 una ventana para poder desahogarse de todo con lo que no est谩 de acuerdo en su 谩mbito religioso. Sin duda alguna esta fue una muestra de arte muy interesante y cautivadora que te permite adentrarte en el inconsciente de los autores; espero que este post sea de su agrado buenas vibras.
