Tofu, you are truly LEGENDARY! Thank you for the great incentives you are offering the community! I appreciate the shout out and hope I can do you proud with my new account :) Indeed, Water / Earth combo

If nothing else, it seems like all the incentives mitigate most of the risk of the spellbook at least (NFA)! I've been trying to get a few friends in as well... I worry that Tofu will run out of referrals

Thank you for sharing. This hit me hard, as I also wanted to go into Psych then went into computers because there was supposed to be a demand for it, and it paid well. Ended up taking jobs outside my field

But I had to put in $3500... And I'm not close to a max deck. That's a crazy amount for a TCG and it's unreasonable to expect people to drop that kinda money to play. I just want to see more people in

Full disclosure: The value of my REB = $3650 and my daily rental income is around 1350 DEC. Yes, I own Tofu and Venka etc and they are included in that calculation. I spent around $3500ish on cards / packs.

This is also true of splinterlands decks. They rotate every 1 1/2 years... or is it annually? I can't even tell anymore as I'm not sure if they still plan to do mini sets and keep rotation at 18 months

Re: Magic Packs - I just skipped the commons because they don't have a lot of value, not because they aren't used in decks ;). Most magic decks are actually primarily commons and uncommons with supporting

Great video! All valid points! Just to clarify, I have a LOT of Rebellion and spent thousands on it... They are being rented out in account "Psilence4" right now since I'm not playing modern

My issue with the "less people playing in modern = higher SPS rewards" is that it is a demand driven token. If no one is playing because the game is too expensive, there is no demand, and therefore

I advocate for compete elimination of the "starter packs" and to simply lower the price of the main set! It is needlessly complicated and unnecessary if the core set packs were simply properly

Just chiming in that I am one of the "would buy at $2 not $4 people" from your 4th point. Rain being that I spent thousands on REB, and literally had commons at 40bcx and most legendaries incomplete

Hi thanks for the shout-out! I think we did it live to ensure we filled all the brackets with real people, in that moment. We'd prearranged who was playing, and some didn't show up, which would have made

Congrats on your win! I'm glad you had fun, so did I! I hope we can do these tournaments now often and come up with a better way to organize them in the future once we've got some experience. Got those

It's the first! I hope we're able to make this a frequent event! With a little fine tuning, I feel like we can make these tournaments similar to the old "Splinterlands TV" vibes we used to have

InLeo #splinterlands tournament is ON! Check it out! REAL cash prizes!

I haven't figured out how yet :( I literally have a title page created, but have no way to "upload" it to the hive post without putting it into the main article. Couldn't find a resource to help

IDK if the focus should be on the starter packages or not TBH. That's an idea I've wrestled with as I feel like it's almost an overcomplication of a simple solution. At $2 / pack there would be no need

I think part of the problem with Aggs approach wasn't so much that he sold cheap CL packs... it was that he sold cheap CL packs AFTER having already sold them for so much INITIALLY. If he'd started and

The introduction of survival mode may help with giving the whales a bigger pond to play in? But I agree. More accessible entry points will encourage more people to participate in the ecosystem, and could

I am with you. I financially can not go for $4 packs again. I am currently botting wild and renting out my modern cards to save up for CA... that is until I spent everything instead getting ready for Survival
