The temple in honor of the icon of the mother of God "Joy or Consolation" in short "Wooden Church" is one of the most astonishing contemporary style architecture i have ever seen. Total area of the complex is 371.5 Sq M and height of the church is 25 Meter with the shape of an Orthodox of a wooden frame structure with three domes. In the church complex with the temple built a parable church house, which will also hold church ceremonies.
Vladyka Nicodemus, Metropolitan of Kharkov and Bogodukhovsky of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, gave a blessing to the erection of the church.
I am not going to write about religious details as i have already given links about that. All i will share what i have seen and what i think infact why this temple/church is astronishing for me..
If you see this structure from long distance you will see a picturesque structure which is mind-blowing. Wooden structure will gives you the visualization of ancient time monumental structure. Detailing of the structure is stunning as well as iconic. Infact boundary details of total complex with landscape shows the intense afford of an architect. Each and every pattern is built in such a way so that you could not find any fault of the design... Such a unique masterpiece.. That's why this is one of the historical and attractive place for tourists.
