RE: Citizens don't need guns to protect themselves.
In all fairness, when I was younger we didn't have all these shootings going on. Many of us were raised as children to use guns and respect them. It wasn't unusual to see them at school in pickup truck

RE: Prayers Needed For VOP Founder Lewis Arthur
Thank you for caring Lyndsay. It has been eating at me as well. I have to trust God has a reason for this.

I am of the hope that his work is not done. There are many vets there who were involved in his project, as well as many more whom he has touched their lives over the years. His continued documentation

RE: The Serpent
Curious if there has ever been a society where no one was in power. It seems human nature dictates there will always be those who would enlist others to create a base of power. This would be furthered

Glad to see in the comments some are voluntarily returning the funds. Hopefully they all will once they realize what happened. Sounds like a lot of headache running your project. Hopefully the bugs are

Bitter because your audience is mostly paid for bots? I'm sorry that you have to pay to get votes on your writing. Not everyone is that good that actual people will reward their work, just how it goes.

Just read your post. Sorry no value to my vote anymore. Since the fork is went back to zero. Might as well vote at 1% on comments now. :)

In many cases it is the only indirect route to the owners. I can see this being the case at times, but I noticed the link on your post the other day the bot service had a post and comment in the last 7

As I hinted at on your post the other day, the owners of the bots should be targeted, not just the users whose coin they take for shit posts. It seems odd to target the users of these services while giving

RE: Untangling the Gordian Knot that is Steem Ethics
I think history and personal experience bears out the idea that self interest is not only the natural inclination for us, but sadly for a majority it is taken to extremes that harm ones actual self interest.

I have already noticed some hypocritical witch hunting taking place. Supposedly the post in question was plagiarized too ( I say supposedly as I have seen some accused and acted on before it was verified

RE: How To Check Your DownVote Mana
An observation on the witchhunt that is being encouraged here. On the link for the cryptomark person, I checked their wallet and see they paid the Smartsteem group for the votes. Seems that if this behavior

RE: Will Hardfork 21 Operant Conditioning Prepare You to Accept Social Credit?
This is not true. We disagree on this. If it weren't true then there would be much less Steem sitting on exchanges because authors would be buying in creating a demand. Looking not only at current users,

I tend to believe they knew upfront the pitfalls of the stake based system. The mining thread (imo) seems to bear out that they wanted the most stake so they could control the system they were creating.

Because of the new tool, you can now either give out carrots to posts you enjoyed, or you can whack the post with a stick. Perhaps the author had a wrong opinion or said something you didn’t like. Maybe

Would you lend (delegate) some random screen name 414,148.531 Steem. Seems obvious to me (and probably most) that the 1600 Steem payments were the cause of the delegation. Strangers delegate all over the

Not feeling this proves they know each other in real life, although it certainly demonstrates a camaraderie and at times a common goal. Which is obvious by their own admissions and actions. Not sure what
