Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I know you have other things to do, so am definitely grateful you stopped by. Let's proceed to take a look at how my day has been plus some of the day's trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So I kicked off the day with some brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighbourhood 🌲. A cloudy day but with some beautiful morning breeze 🍃. Then I was back indoors for some resting, a little bit of daily chores and catching up with the news. The next chance of walking came in the afternoon out to the city centre for some errands; nice sunny day as I made my way. As always I squeezed in the afternoon nap and woke up some time early evening. After some news and you tube, it was time for the slow paced sunset walk. I had a nice walk then was back indoors still watching news. So now let's quickly take a look at a summary of what was trending.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, otherwise a nice day, it's been rainy this evening though.
On the continent, Sudan trending as the rapid support forces or RSF have said they were ready for a ceasefire with the army to pave way for a democratic govt.
Meanwhile, the head of the army speaking at UN general assembly also said a ceasefire was needed to relieve the suffering of citizens. I really hope a permanent ceasefire can be reached to end the war and begin reconstruction💯.
Let's go to Europe, UK trending as five Bulgarians nationals were charged with spying for Russia🙀.
They were found with multiple passports of different EU states among other offences.
Then political shenanigans 😹 as Poland said it would no longer supply weapons to Ukraine amid a diplomatic dispute over Ukraine's grain exports. Let's hope they can quickly resolve the dispute💯.
Speaking of Ukraine, president Zelensky is on a visit to the white house. This in a bid to secure further funding to repel Russian invasion of his country. Biden has vowed to stand by him all the way💯, pledging a further $3.4 billion😹.
Still in the US, billionaire media mogul, Rupert Murdoch, 92, is to retire from News Corp and Fox 🦊 news. He leaves his son in charge after a 70 year career.
Finally, Brazil's top court has delivered a landmark ruling in favour of indigenous people. The ruling restored territory to the Xokleng people from which they were evicted. The ruling sets a precedent for hundreds of indigenous land claims and is expected to have widespread consequences for indigenous land rights. Am happy for them 💯.
So that was Thursday and I wanna thank you for reading this far 👏. I truly appreciate your continued support 🙏 and love 💕. Sending back that love 💞 and lots of blessings 👼😇 to everyone.
See you again tomorrow on an amazing high five Friday 🙌. Until then keep stepping and enjoying yourselves to the max 💯.
Definitely stay safe, take care and good bye 💖💕💖 Hakuna Matata.....
