What keeps me far from buying and actively using Hive - these are very-very basics, just regarding DHF, I could go on through dozens of more topics:

1., DHF proposals' approval rate. It's simply a joke. No one can be expected to buy and use Hive if they see through DHF. Proposals can be accepted with 20% of the active HP. So it's simply not decentralized. (Knowing the %age owned by whales.)

2., DHF money wasting. They spend money on nothing. Not for ads, not for web2 social media influencers with 100 and 100 thousand followers, not for blog ads, not for streamers. (They can spend on the rally car, which does not reach a single potential user...)

3., Most companies pay a premium when business is going well, right? The Hive business is very slow, and instead of actively trying to increase DAU, hundreds of thousands of dollars are being used to fund a Croatian vacation.

4., I read back in time from the beginning, I didn't see any professionalism on the part of valueplan - not much from the others, but nothing at all from them. (I don't mean the technical part, I can't form an opinion about that, but primarily about how to manage a business.)

5., In almost all proposals for larger amounts, it is written that a monthly settlement report will be prepared. Once they get enough votes, they can take the money, they don't even bother make a fake report, what for they spent these amounts. (Especially the value plan is confusing, just reading their previous 'report', everyone will be angry, it is so clear where the money will go.)

Instead of shoving it into their own pockets - but at least wasting it on nothing - they should spend on these things, so that I even consider the idea of whether it is worth getting involved in Hive in any way again.

1., Higher DHF proposal approval rate, at least 40% of total active HIVE, around 60M, and actively report about what for they spend money (an amatur blog post is NOT a report).

2., Valuplan last 'report' wrote, they have 2 very professional project managers (no matter it's voluntary or not - likely not, they pay for them from the $100k-300k/Q). SACK THEM ASAP!!! This is something very-very important! Most people probably don't know how important it is!

3., Hire someone who has professional and successful experience in this field and also has the right network of contacts. Preferably based on performance. The lowest possible base salary and a proportionately large performance bonus, which is well above the average salary. Cost what it cost. It simply cannot cost more what it does atm.

4., Create a Hive welcome page where everything can be found in one place, up-to-date. Video tutorials about everything, but at least the basics! Not as it is now. Everything back and forth, without updates, a real jungle for newcomers.

5., Promotional contract with streamers with 500 thousand+ active followers. With 1 streamer 4-5 times within a few weeks, a total of 10-15 hours - most will accept it for a few thousand dollars. Create their own community for each streamer. Whales can delegate to the streamer huge HP for 1 month, and they can explain everything to their followers (possibly together with a whale, regular Hive user). I know, most of their followers would take the small amount, what they got from few upvotes, and leave, but some would stay. And even few 100 new DAU / streamer would be a huge boost for Hive in all aspect, and in plenty other fields it's provenly working + cost effective.

6., Real ads. Not the money tap, mindless types that they rarely do. I don't care what kind, ads on blog sites, crypto sites or even Brave, Google ads. All cheaper and more effective compared to what for they are spending money currently. I have no idea who was the first clever guy, who figured out that a web3 project should not be advertised exclusively online.

7., Ban auto-voting, curation trails.

It's already very long, but still very basic, common sense things, nothing special. I could go on and on, with further basic stuff for start-ups kinda projects. Given people should relize, they earn a lot less, than they could, if they would do things right. If they are unable to do so, just employ or let those who understand it, not only driven by personal interests, do it for them and for everybody.
