Hello hivers:

mira adelante,

mira esas barricas llenas de gente

acostadas mirando la distancia vacía

con la boca oscura como el cielo de un condenado;

y me quede entonces,

con el espíritu inflado,

con un te amo

que me llene los sentidos

de tanto todo, con casi nada.

...

Feliz día y noche para todos!
Gracias por su visita 😍☀️

Hello, Hivers:

They say that remembering is living again, and through this text, I find myself remembering moments I shared with my wife.

Thank you for reading. 🌿

Defibrillating the Soul

Here we are,

with this loss of sight that overwhelms us

and this bone-deep pain that floods us,

always the same:

the road carried on our backs,

heavy upon our shoulders,

yet they always tell us: it doesn’t matter what is past,

look ahead,

look at those barrels filled with people,

lying down, gazing into the empty distance,

their mouths dark as the sky of a condemned man;

in the end, nothing in the backpack,

neither the dust of bones nor the hurried rush

that comes when something good is expected,

with adrenaline and other substances coursing through the blood,

when there is so much of everything

and we are left with so much nothing.

There is also this woman,

reinventing herself,

I cannot see you with my feet first

upon the final timber,

when the mast gives way

to the gnawing of life, of insects,

of time, so much time,

so much laughter, yet I never noticed,

always serious,

not like you, who bring me a dawn

with white easels

through which the light enters,

every morning, almost every morning.

And I, with so little time,

with my meager laughter and your hands

slipping away between the lights and the rays

of so much everything.

Perhaps I will embrace you, woman,

and then remain,

my spirit swollen,

with an I love you

that fills my senses

with so much everything,

with almost nothing.

¡Have a nice day!

Thanks for visit. 😍☀️
