Hi everyone it's here introducing the last Monday edition of the #TravelDigest.
Another day of great places and stories around the globe to read about! This time we have great stories from Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sri Lanka, Russia, and Cuba - So a little bit of everything! - Enjoy ;)
I have always been passionate about castles I think and when I moved to Spain, more specifically Malaga and found out that there were two castles here I couldn't wait to see them. I have visited the Alcazaba Castle five times and I would go back again and again, because on each visit I discover something new or a new passage, a new staircase or something that catches my attention.

Think of a king. In order to protect a civilization with historical and natural beauties, he risked everything and had a castle built for protection. The foundations of this castle are being laid with the clever art of a master architect, against attacks from both sea and land. This magnificent castle, the like of which we have rarely seen in history, was built under the name "Red Tower" in the Alanya district of Antalya.

Before going on the guided tour of Tongobriga, right where we stopped the car we found a beautiful church.
Here in this area, everything is properly restored and recovered and, as Mr. Jorge told us, many of these houses were built with all the stone that was removed from the land when it was disturbed and treated so that people could come here to live.
