Introduction

Hi everyone it's @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. I know we've asked this many times already in the past week about supporting our DHF proposal https://peakd.com/me/proposals/282. In case you're wondering why we keep on asking, it's because getting funded means it will keep the Pinmapple project running. The technical support and infrastructure cost is over USD1000 per month and that is what we are asking in the proposal. Currently the proposal is funded based on one single supporter but that could change in the future. That's why it is important we get as much support as possible including your vote, no matter how large or small your stake is. You can vote for the proposal via the link above. Thanks.

" The only thing that I did not like about this place was the excessive use of poor animals to carry people and materials to the top. I just like to plead with everyone to not go if they can't carry themselves up the mountain rather than giving some hard time to those poor animals. There are helicopter services available too, but as you can expect they are expensive. I hate to see young and healthy people getting carried over by horses and mules. Just stay at home if you can't do it."

🥈 The White House Christmas Tour by @for91days

" Stationed in each room were Secret Service agents, who were happy to answer all our questions… I had assumed they’d all be too tough to chit-chat, but it wasn’t the case; they were talkative, and even kind of jokey. My first question was whether the Biden family actually uses all these rooms, and the answer was affirmative. When the tours end, they remove all the barricades, and the family makes use of the full mansion, including the theater."

🥉 Lačnov Canyon / Lačnovský kaňon by @photoparadise

" We welcome you to the Lačnovský canyon. This is written on the wooden entrance gate, which always respectfully greets every tourist. It's a really nice welcome and I was quite pleased. The Branisko Mountains are located quite close to the Slovak Paradise National Park, which is very popular with tourists. And so the beauties that are found here are somewhat secluded."
