Here's Mortagne, the nearest small town to where we live and where you can find just about everything you need ! It's a charming medieval town that I find very well preserved, at least compared to many other medium-sized towns that are overrun with phone shops and other standardised chains.

🥈 Nitra's Castle Hill - A Step Back in Time by @delishtreats

Nitra is one of the oldest cities in Slovakia as it dates back to the beginning of the 9th century. Of course, there were other settlements in this place before, but the city got its name in the 9th century and it also became one of the two principalities that formed the empire of Great Moravia. Nitra has great importance in the history of our country also because St. Cyril and St. Methodius stayed here during their work in Slovakia to bring religion to the Slavs in their native tongue. They had great influence on how our nation is formed even today and we learn a lot about them at school. There are also streets as well as a university named after them.

🥉 Exploring The Las Lapas Lookout In North Trinidad! by @lemniscate

The mountains of North Trinidad are calling our names! Today, we drive through thick and lush forests to get to a highly remote but breathtaking lookout that gives you panoramic views of the northern mountain range as well as the ocean and north coast! The views and mountains are unlike anything we've seen in Trinidad or Tobago and has stolen our hearts! The lookout is owned by a humble mom and pop family that cultivate the land and monetize the visitors with their small shop. They are awesome enough not the charge for visitation and rely on donations as well!
