With the children off school I haven't had much time to put into creating high quality content so have mostly experimented by posting whatever came to mind without a whole lot of planning, some of it has added value some of it hasn't. But with the children returning to school tomorrow it's time to put some serious consideration into what I can actually offer the steem it platform and which of those offerings users actually want to see.
The idea bank is primarly a service for users who feel they have nothing interesting to say, something that seems mundane or boring to them because they do it a lot is most probably challanging or fascinating to someone who has never come across or done it before.
it is also there to help combat writers block for those users who are just struggling to think of something to write about.
Ideally lots of people will get involved depositing ideas that they themselves would either like to read about or just haven't got time to write.
Crochet Tutorials
This is something I definatly want to do and have touched on in my earlier articles, however this will take time to put together as I need to invest some funds in equipment to be able to film properly and time setting up a perminant workspace in my tiny tiny house.
This video was made by streching clingfilm across two tables to create a clear platform to place my phone on. As you can see it was far from ideal as it interfeared with the picture quality at times, and includes rearranging the house everytime i wish to film.
I'm aware that starting out it can be quite difficult with most newbie crocheters getting themselves in a tangle and feeling that they just can't do it, so I would also like to find a way to offer one to one help for those who want it.
Art
While i have enjoyed sharing my doodles I do wonder how much value they actually add to the site and your experiances here? I have one more megadoodle in the works that I plan on working on throughout this week transforming an old table into a giant mandala, but as the weather is starting to turn here in the UK I'm not sure how much outside time I will get to compleate it.
My other options moving forward are
crochet art in a similar fashion to the video above (although less childish as part of my plan for that project was to keep the children entertained for several hours)
time lapse doodles filmed from above
promoting and eventually interviewing other steemit artists far more talented than myself through a once a week round up article.
I would truly appriciate any feedback on which of these you would like to see more of as I don't have time to do them all.
