What will be used as a yardstick for trust when it comes to Hive? How do we know our data won't be sold out? Privacy policies exist for a reason. It's never been a secret what big tech was going to do

We're looking into it

I got sidetracked with trying to implement keychain login in PHP, everything else is prepared. I'll announce when it starts!

Oh no, nobody wants that! All additional data we store will be in a separate database. Users will get fine grained control of what's saved and what not, and if their data will be available through a public

Bootstrapping with manual tagging of posts to train the ai, so users can select topics they're interested in, is already in progress!

Your observations are worthless, as they're all based on the status quo. Do you really think anything you said would've been new to me? Maybe reading a few comments here would've helped you to look out

If you don't get it, I don't have the time to explain. Keep doing what you're doing and see where that brings us.

You're generalizing using the current userbase, which is not the intention here. Hive clearly failed to attract mainstream, and the main reason is the focus on rewards. People want to be entertained on

I obviously am aware of how people vote. And again, it depends on the user. There are people who vote organically, the others are not our targeted demographic. The end goal is a site that's used like

It's only a simple prototype, the ui will change completely

Right now we use upvotes for a start, but then transist to site usage data over time. How useful it is when using on-chain metrics depends on the individual user, my feed looks a lot like a daily curangel

Use the login at the top right of the page for now please

Yes, the "downside" is that data needs to be collected. We have a couple of data points which are available from the blockchain, but to get good results we need to store more, site-usage specific

That's a good idea, a sticker on the back would be nice. And yes, it's my primary residence so to say, except for the winters.

Not interested in the lower northern part at all, I avoid places where they could legally kill me. The central and southern Americas are definitely on my bucket list, but that has to wait until the dog

It's my only ride, there's no garage in there...

I just figured they put it the wrong way. Was too happy to get rid of the old weight to take care. Well, what's done is done :D If it annoys you, turn your head upside down.

Hotel prices for those dates are really crazy. @sailingroads asked where to stay with a van and I recommended Camping Zeeburg. Maybe that's an alternative for cheaper accomodation, if more people choose

That's pretty much impossible in Amsterdam city. I can recommend Camping Zeeburg, but it'll still take you at least half an hour to get to the center with public transport.

Thank you!
