Greetings, everyone!
This contest is more like a debate that can be for or against. I want to say that student loans are risky for me. If I want to further my education, I don't think it will be wise for me to go into debt that I will not be able to clear in the next year or so. Debt only in the student's head can cause failure or a lack of focus in their studies.
However, the government's cancellation of students' outstanding debt is good and the government can single-handedly clear the outstanding debt without pushing it to the taxpayers.
Here, the students can breathe and save for their future, and do other reasonable things for themselves without cracking their brains on how to clear their debts and it reduces long-term accumulating interest.
Debt is bad and leads to suicide or death, just sitting down to think about it, is a while lot.
Many people, aside from the students, have left a huge amount of debt behind for their family members to bear the consequences. Some students, who almost committed suicide just forget about the debts they have owed, which they couldn't meet within the timeline.
This is my little response to this contest.
