I think you have hit the nail on the head, they want old cards to be useless so everyone buys new cards. Who wants to bet me (BTC not soon to be worthless SPS) next will be modern players can only use

This is the best solution I have seen, besides requiring specific Collection Power to advance to higher leagues (the reason most of us were prepared to spend money on cards)

I doubt any of us previously regular players that have been screwed by this proposal actually care anymore about this projects success or failure

Ho won earth is this adding any value to our old cards when it is pointless to try resell them with no-one being able to use them expect the whales and we know they will wait until everyone dumps their

I honestly don't think they care whether the project tanks or not as long as they grab as much of our hard earned money as possible on its way down

You will only get new players until they realise that any cards they purchase are not going to be plahyable long term unless they pay each and every season to use THEIR OWN ASSETS - THIS RUG PULL SCAM

Matt cares about only one thing - rich people!!!!!!!

I have been referring to this change as the ultimate rug-pull by scammers when asked about this game

I totally agree. This change is definitely not for the better and I have now totally stopped playing and just collect my SPS & vouchers from my staked SPS. What it has made me do unfortunately is become

This new change has totally ruined the game for me. I worked a lot of overtime to be able to afford to buy some early pack cards (to be able to win matches & increase my collection power to advance),
