In the past everything was going into the pool proposal. Now, as long as this proposal has support, anything not used by proposals ranked higher than this will be sent to @null each day.

I've explained Hive to people before and their desire to comprehend ended when they heard they had to secure outside of their hardware wallet. I think just having ledger support alone will be game changing

I understand liquidity pools well. I've actually set up pool and pool rewards up on Hive Engine. The problem I'm not understanding is that on Hive Engine pools and pool rewards are different functions.

I'm feeling positive with the first day results. We shot all the way to 40% in about 24 hours. I've been reaching out to other stakeholders as well trying to rally support from those that haven't yet voted.

I agree! I believe these changes will allow the community to operate even if I was long gone because at that point there will be a group of signers that can sign the community's will instead of just hoping

You can! The pools allow you to provide liquidity for the tokens in the pool. Right now in SPORTS we have one pool (SPORTS:SWAP.HIVE) so anyone can put up equal portions of both tokens for others to trade
