To be frank, I feel it is the best idea right now. You can swap to GLDT on icpswap.com or kongswap.io, icpswap also allows for limit orders. The largest pools right now are USDT GLDT.

The easiest bridge is to move icp into a wallet like icpswap. and swap. The more secure variety would be to create an internet identity, and tie it to icpswap, rather than relying on a mere password.

It is uncertain how crypto will react to another massive down leg in the markets, but usually it hurts crypto a lot. BTC is getting all the capital, and from my view it makes sense to have another major flush out before the age of crypto has officially begun but i may be wrong. Gold and gold-pegged tokens like GLDT seem like the best idea to me considering francis' scenario. Especially since ICP is still silenced, its time has not yet come and anyone who has sat in alts instead of gldt is feeling the pain now and likely afor a lot longer, i really can't say
