So here I am in my bed trying to gather the strength to go to work. I wish I didn't have to. The same routine week after week...it's getting annoying.
This started two months ago. I only get one day off per week and it doesn't seem enough. That's how it is when you're a single parent. Today is particularly worse than other Sundays since I didn't get enough sleep last night.
I don't complain about the extra money but I need a break...at least a mini vacation. Maybe some place like this if I could afford it.
It's probably better if I just suck it up and work through this while the HR department gets their lazy asses off their chairs and hire some extra hands to help us out.
Sadly even if we get help it won't matter until the new people get trained and are up to par with the rest of us...that's going to be at least two more months.
That's how it is when you are employed to a bureaucratic big corporation.
Just for fun I checked what are the average working hours per year in the OCDE countries. My country had the highest average in 2015 (Mexico) with 2246 hours per year. The country with the lowest was Germany with 1371. It would be cool to work there.
At least I wasn't born in the 1800s or the early 1900s so I guess I am lucky...right?
