I continue my favorite flower heading!) And today I have a beautiful cherry brandy Rudbeckia, which won me over with its stunning color. I am delighted with such warm, velvety flowers. Ordinary rudbeckia, of course, is in itself very beautiful too and how bright the sun illuminates the flower bed. But this variety is for real gourmets!) What say?
This varietal variety of perennial hairy orebeckia. Most often it is grown as an annual, because in the first year of its flowering, it looks luxurious, but unfortunately it loses all its beautiful decorative qualities in the second and subsequent years. One of our bushes for the second year grew, not very beautiful. few buds, and in general the appearance of the inflorescence itself was rather strange, the petals are thin and not so bright.
Plant height on average about 50 cm. Large inflorescences that can reach more than 10 cm in diameter. Along the edges of the flower is a beautiful, rich burgundy color with a dark middle. From far away it seems that it is like black. Petals are velvety and I want to pick and pick a beautiful bunch. Plus, this variety can stand for a long time in cutting. The powerful stem and the flower itself will stand in a vase for several days.
For the cultivation of this variety in your area, it is better to choose an open sunny place. In the floor, the shadows of the stems are very stretched out and the bush takes on a not quite neat appearance, falling apart in all directions. Then it is imperative to resort to garter. The soil is preferably loose, fertilized. It is also worth noting that the plant is quite moisture-loving and should not be forgotten. In general, watering is moderate, but in particularly hot weather should be increased.
If rudbeckia feels comfortable on the place where you planted it, then it will bloom all summer until the cold. By passing irrigation, do not forget to remove weeds, loosen the soil, you can feed your beauty with mineral fertilizers and it is desirable to cut off flowering inflorescences.
