RE: The Second D&D Tarak Campaign - Showdown at the Gulthias Tree
Sunless Citadel is such a cool dungeon and quest. I'm so glad they converted the OG dungeon into one for 5e and added it to an anthology book. I liked the setting so much that Oakhurst is part of my world

RE: HBD Stabilizer - Ensuring Continuity
I mean, it's a pretty basic arbitrage bot. Beyond the size of available funds, there's nothing stopping any of us from doing this same thing. Smooth has been pretty responsive to when the bot needed less

RE: HBD Stabilizer - Ensuring Continuity
@dalz did a dive into that a few months back. I remember reading it and being impressed with the detail he went to. So, I dug it up, and that analysis is here: But to sum up the part you directly asked

RE: Retro Review - Bonkers (Super Nintendo)
Oh wow, I haven't thought of this game in forever. A guy I used to know had this game and we'd play it all the time back then. I remember the soundtrack being great for the time.

RE: 2025 Institutional Adoption Implies 2029 Mainstream Adoption
Per usual, you're correct. November has been wild so far, and I'm excited to see what next year brings. I expect to see another round of mainstream news fueled fomo once we really get into it. Also, that

RE: Thoughts on Knave 2e
Yeah I honestly don't know if I'll do much for the economy beyond reducing the cost of a few things (arrows most notably) when/if I come across them and they feel wrong. As long as I am creating and running

RE: The Ups and Downs of Curation Trails
I had followed a trail for a while, but I stopped in mid 2022, and went fully manual voting. I kept that up until late last year when my health was shit and I was in and out of surgeries/recoveries and

Id start with the second in the series, myself. If I was able to go back and do it that way. Thanks for the comment!

RE: Breach of Peace - Daniel Greene
He has read a ton of Sanderson, and I think met him IRL before and done various interviews with him - so I would definitely agree that it's likely an influence for him. I do hope it grows (or has grown)

RE: Hand Sewn Re-Enactment Musket Lock Covers
That's a fun way to do it! My step-mother replaced parts of my old teddy ages ago when I was a kid in that same fashion. Its ears and feat soles wore out so the ears got replaced with rabbit fur and the

RE: Battle Stations (Short Story)
The blinding feels like all those old tales they'd tell us about laser pointers: "Never point them at an airplane, you could blind the pilot!" which I suspect was hogwash but kept us from trying

Chester's like "dude, why are you doing that? It doesn't look like that goes in my bowl, so I don't see the point." Great work though, that looks like it'd actually make for a very relaxing bit

RE: Trump: A Best-Case Scenario
I will say, for all his many faults... the one thing I can say about Trump is that unlike most politicians... that man does things. Not always good or smart things, but when he says he's going to do something

RE: Trump: A Best-Case Scenario
The problem with any dealings with Putin is that negotiating will only ever end in Ukrainian territory being lost, and more land for Russia. Putin won't leave without his pound o' flesh, and Zelenski will
