Hello everyone! How have you been? I have been away because of the festivities and because my project has been taking longer than I expected, honestly these past few days I wanted to draw again so I wanted to do something related to a series that I have been totally immersed in: "Arcane". I think this series and every aspect of it is a masterpiece, but specifically the art, in my opinion, was made with lots of love because every detail is stunning. Did you guys see that the backgrounds where handmade and all the characters are made in 3D? Everything happens at the same time. I think this is the future of animation and it looks radiant. I made this drawing yesterday at night, it has been a while since I last draw something "complete", of course I have made noticible mistakes but this kind of things are normal when you don't practice constantly, but I feel that I have been getting better at it. At the end of this post I will leave some drawings that I made a few months ago, now I will show you some pictures of the process and the materials that I used, also wanted to tell you that maybe I will make this drawing digital. Now with pleasure I present you my version of Vi!
¡Hola a todos!, ¿Cómo están?, he estado un tiempo lejos por las festividades y porque mi proyecto está tardando más de lo que creí, siendo sincera estos días me han dado ganas de volver a dibujar así que quise hacer algo relacionado de una serie que me tiene totalmente inmenrsa, que es como observan en el título "Arcane" me pareció una joya en todo tipo de aspecto pero en arte yo creo que estuvo hecho con mucho amor porque cada detalle es impresionante, ¿observaron que los fondos son a mano y los personajes son en 3D?, todo eso ocurre al mismo tiempo, me parece que este es el futuro de la animación y se ve resplandeciente, el dibujo lo hice ayer en la noche, realmente tengo mucho tiempo sin realizar un dibujo "completo", con más detalle y más técnica, así que disfruté cada momento de elaboración, claro que tengo errores notables, este tipo de cosas suele ser normal si se lleva tiempo sin seguir practicando, poco a poco siento que estoy mejorando, al final de este post dejaré dibujos que había hecho hace unos meses, ahora procederé a mostrarles algunas fotos del proceso y los materiales que usé, también quisiera destacar que puede ser más no es seguro, que haga el dibujo en digital, ahora con muchísimo gusto, ¡aquí está mi versión de Vi!
This first photo is when I was beginning to structure the drawing, for this, I used an F pencil, it was quite comfortable to sketch and it does not cause stains:
En esta primera foto es cuando estaba empezando a estructurar el dibujo, para ello, usé un lápiz F, fue bastante cómodo para bosquejar ya que no causa manchas:
After assembling my LineArt with the same pencil, I used to shade an H pencil along with the F to vary shades:
Después de remarcar mi LineArt con el mismo lápiz, usé para sombrear un lápiz H junto al F para variar de sombras:
(To make those little highlights that you see in the hair, I just leave the space blank and make asymmetrical lines)

I forgot to explain something during the post and it is my personal detail towards the drawing, Vi has blue eyes but I placed a pink color with highlighter since that is her representative color, I felt that I was going to give it a different touch but that it would make it feel like it was her in the drawing.
Olvidé explicar algo dura te el post y es mi toque personal hacia el dibujo, Vi tiene ojos azules pero lo remplacé por un color rosado usando un resaltador ya que es su color representativo, sentí que le iba a dar un toque diferente pero que lo haría sentir que es ella quien está en el dibujo.
Continuing with the explanation, I passed over a 4B pencil again, which are the darkest lines that you will find in the LineArt.
Prosiguiendo con la explicación, pasé por encima un lápiz 4B de nuevo, el cual notarán que son las líneas más oscuras que podrán encontrar en el LineArt.
It should be noted that I used a 6H pencil to make contrast since it could darken areas such as the jacket and hood without dulling or overloading the drawing with opaque shadows.
Cabe a destacar que usé un lápiz 6H para hacer contraste ya que pude oscurecer zonas como la chaqueta y la capucha sin sobrecargar el dibujo con sombras muy opacas.
This pencil that you are seeing below, has been a very useful tool for me, it has been with me for about two years, it is an eraser that has a brush on the other end, It helps me erase certain areas more precisely and I can clean the paper without messing anything up, it's like my secret gun.
Este lápiz que están viendo a continuación, ha sido bastante útil para mí, ha estado conmigo como por dos años, es un borrador que tiene una brocha en el otro extremo, me ha ayudado a borrar ciertas zonas con más precisión y poder limpiar el papel sin echarlo a perder todo, es como mi arma secreta.
I really liked the fact that the paper is textured and makes the graphite grip more rich with each stroke.
Me ha gustado bastante el hecho de que el papel es texturizado y eso ha hecho que tenga más riqueza el grafito con cada trazo.
Finally, I did some touch-ups, which was to add the strap that comes out of the jacket and the tattoo that goes on part of the neck touching the shoulder.
Finalmente hice unos retoques, los cuales eran agregar la correa que sale de la chaqueta y el tatuaje que se encuentra en parte del cuello tocando el hombro.
This was my little explanation of what I did during the making of this drawing, as I am still drawing in my Sketchbook, I have thought about drawing a Caitlyn, since she is my favorite character, she seems incredible to me, As I told you at the beginning of this post, I also want to show you old drawings since I feel that I have grown as an artist despite the time without practicing.
Esta fue mi pequeña explicación sobre lo que hice durante la realización de este dibujo, como sigo dibujando en mi Sketchbook, tuve la idea de dibujar a Caitlyn, ella es mi personaje favorito, ella me parece asombrosa, como les dije al principio de este post, también yo quería mostrarles mis viejos dibujos, siento que he crecido como artista a pesar del tiempo sin haber estado practicando.
This drawing has a deep meaning for me, I wanted to portray in my opinion what femininity and the erogenous zones of a woman have been and their intensity, that's why they see those colors making those cuts, is my reference to what a woman feels emotionally and physically, I'll let you draw your own conclusions!
Este dibujo tiene un significado profundo para mí, quería retratar lo que en mi opinión es la feminidad y las zonas erógenas de una mujer y su intensidad, ese es el porqué se ven esos cortes con esos colores, es mi referencia a lo que una mujer siente emocionalmente y físicamente, ¡dejaré que ustedes mismos saquen sus propias conclusiones!
When I made this drawing, it was thinking of an old friend who moved to another country, she actually always had that cold look so one day thinking about her, I ended up making this drawing.
Cuando hice este dibujo, estaba pensando en una vieja amiga que se mudó a otro país, ella realmente siempre tenía esa mirada fría así que un día pensando en ella, terminé haciendo este dibujo.
I remember when I made this drawing, it is my version of the OC of my best friend, she and I always draw together, she gives me an idea and I give her one too, although lately it's just been me giving her ideas hahaha.
Recuerdo cuando hice este dibujo, esta es mi versión del OC de mi mejor amiga, ella y yo siempre solemos dibujar juntas, ella me da una idea y yo le doy una también, aunque últimamente he sido nada más yo dándole ideas a ella hahaha.
