Happy Monday dear friends of Hive. The Internet has changed the way we relate to the world and its spheres. It has changed the way we work, entertain ourselves, and of course, communicate.
Probably most of you reading this have not received a letter in years, others, because of their youth, never in their lives. Of course, except for telephone bills, electricity bills or a dreaded letter from the bank. But the letters from friends in other countries, their postcards, have practically been forgotten.
However, there are human beings like me, who resist the death of the tradition of sending letters and postcards. There are those who, out of such determination, have created tools on the Internet to make this process something attractive and fun.
As铆 es este escenario:
One of them is Postcrossing.com, a website that serves as a connection for postcard lovers and does it in a very fun way. Here's how this scenario works:
The dynamics of Postcrossing.com is simple, a person A sends a postcard to another person B randomly chosen by the web algorithm, when person B receives his postcard and registers it on the platform, then person A, goes to the list of recipients and has the opportunity to receive a postcard.
WARNING, they are not digital postcards, nothing to do with it. You must go to the post office in your city and manually send the postcard to the person indicated by Postcrossing. For this you will be given their postal address and a code, this code must be written very legibly, because then the recipient will have to enter it in Postcrossing.com.
驴Qu茅 dices, te animas?
For years I have been sending and receiving postcards through Postcrossing, at the moment when I plan to move to another country, I am also still using it, but probably very soon I will start doing it from other lands. What do you say, are you up for it? Imagine that one day we will be hacked by Postcrossing.com's algorithm?
