My entry for the portrait contest this week. The white light behind the subject is actually that! It is not a white background lit with strobes. It is a large softbox 12 inches directly behind the subject.

Thought this was the appropriate back lighting for photographing a musician. It give the image a "stage feel" to it by including the light in the photo. Added the red Gel for effect as well.
