This is my very first poem on Steemit and what better time than now!

Using this image as a guide:

The sun arose to a new day
People muddle through their routine
gushing like an endless cycle
fixated with a mask of illusion
in the hopes of change
gazing through a mirror, thinking
of a spell to cast upon themselves
mantras said over and over
in a hope for more laughs than crys
