I couldn't comment there because the discussion is frozen, so I'll explain here how he could do it, hoping he finds this.

1- Publish your Song on SoundCloud

Publish your song on SoundCloud first. Actually you can share any SoundCloud song in steemit, even your old ones.

2- Click share

You shouldn't simply share your link, because this will lead people out of Steemit. People usually will avoid this. It is better if your song is played directly in Steemt

3- Click "Embed" and copy the "iframe" text

When you click "embed", soundcloud will show you some HTML code that you can copy and paste on Steemit.

The code will look like this:
