It has been around 4 months now that I have done my Aerial Yoga. Since the time I left back from Mumbai I have not been able to do it. Sadly, in Muscat there are no Aerial Yoga classes and this is one thing I terribly miss. Aerial Yoga is not something I can do at home, there is a set up required for it. Hence it is only in a class that I can attend or I need to do a complete set up at home, which again is not possible in a rented home.

I am going to be in Mumbai for around 3 weeks, so without wasting any time, I went to the classes to check if I can attend some sessions with them while I am in the city, which they readily agreed to.

Since I was doing it after a break, for the first session I decided to go light and kind of only warm up the body to get used to it again. As it is I am here for few days and I have loads of things to catch up on so I do not want to end up with aches and pains by going all out in the first session itself.

The warm up was also not easy going, by the end of it got stressful. My friend was taking the videos so then from that I had to pick up my screenshots.

There is pressure on every single part of the body and while some of the poses look very easily but then they are really a challenge while doing it.

In the last few months I had gone little lazy on the fitness front, I was just carrying on with my regular Yoga routines and walks but nothing intense. After a long time my body was again going through some intense work out, so I felt very exhausted after this first session. Though not much of aches and pains and I am sure the second one will be much better.

Aerial Yoga is one thing I thoroughly enjoy doing and look forward to. It is just not about testing your physical strength but also your mental strength. The fear of falling, hurting, everything is there but as you progress and gain confidence you overcome all of it.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 馃懠馃徎馃懠馃徎馃挅馃挅馃尮馃尯馃尭
