As I wrote, it can give a nasty bite. I wouldn't recommend letting it land on exposed flesh. Though other than a nasty welt, I don't think it's venomous.

I didn't say it was "cute" though I do think it's quite fascinating how different they are from what might be expected. The jumping spiders however to remain cute, even zoomed in! :D

Quite diffficult to get the DOF correct even with external flash and high aperture helping, good thing butterflies are nearly 2d!
