We visited this place a few years ago just as it was getting dark. Absolutely amazing! I loved how they mapped the light projections so carefully onto the barrel cactus and other plants. Kind of mind-blowing

Yes, Crater Lake is just stunning, and the way you can access it all around the caldera from the rim road is so nice. I'd like to get out on the water sometime. I've heard you can kayak there.
