June was an excellent reading month since I had a little extra time on my hands; my annual leave cycle starts at the end of June, which started off with a readathon, so plenty of holiday reading time!!
Siege And Storm by Leigh Bardugo
Being a second book in a trilogy, I felt that this book lacked a little but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
I enjoy how Alina's story is told by Alina, which adds a certain depth to it.
Again, this series pales in comparison with the Six Of Crows duology, but that's only because I didn't know better and read the duology first... lol.

I have been wanting to read this book for so long!!! And I finally got it and read it!!! And I LOVED IT!!!!
My first Marissa Meyer did not disappoint and I love her writing and I cannot wait to read more of her books and I'm babbling like an idiot!

Stonewall: Breaking Out In The Fight For Gay Rights by Ann Bausum
That’s the Stonewall.

Pay attention.
History walks through that door.
I am the first to tell you that I'm not interested in a history lesson, thank you very much, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading Stonewall.
Not only is the subject matter relevant to me as a person but it was written in such a way as to be almost entertaining - Ann Bausum wrote a whole series of books intended for a teenage audience and it really shows; captivating, witty commentary, full of important and relevant information, interspersed with photos and news clippings makes this book an easy read.
You don't have to be a part of the LGBTQIA+ family to read this book, though - I recommend, and encourage, everyone to read it.

Small Spaces by Sarah Epstein
What can I say about Small Spaces? It blew me away!
I really enjoyed this book, filled with twists and turns, relatable characters and edge of your seat suspense, Sarah Epstein spins a web of clever little deceits and psychological fears into one roller coaster of a read!
Well written and evenly paced, character growth en pointe and dialogue that is relevant and relatable and on par with teenagers of today.
Looking forward to more of Epstein's work!
