Perfeccionismo en Combos.
Perfectionism in Combos.
Volv铆 a hacer lo mismo, primero hice swing 360 y dije: "El giro debe hacerse as铆".
While Angel was practicing dynamics like vaults from the tornado grab, I was working on cleaning up my tricks. At that time, my priority was improving the fluidity of the 360 X because my problem was that, after a 360 swing, when landing on the X grab, my body didn't rotate the same way as with other tricks like the tornado or the 360 swing. So I needed to fix that issue once and for all, or I might get stuck with a technique that wouldn't help me progress with my spins.
The first thing I did was test. I did two 360 X turns, one falling from a 360 swing with a grip change and the other simply doing it without any adjustments. After that, I did a 360 swing without holding onto the bar, just to understand the difference in technique between the two turns. After careful analysis, I came to a conclusion: in the 360 swing, my entire body was extended, but in the 360 X, my body split into two uneven rotations; my legs flexed slightly and crossed over each other. This subtly slowed down my rotation. With that resolved, it was time to tweak and slightly improve my technique.
I repeated the process. First, I did a 360 swing and said, "This is how the turn should be done." With that in mind, I first did a 360 X turn as if it were my own 360 swing, fully extended with one leg pivoting. This gave me greater speed and fluidity in the turn. Then it was time to test it out in a combo, falling from a 360 swing. I changed my grip and landed in a 360 X, where I rotated much better. Although I managed to hold on, there was still room for improvement; I needed more height, maybe to widen my grip a bit, but for now, this was a good step forward. That's all for today, and I hope to see you in my next post.
