Blimey 11 years gone already. RIP Terry and thanks for the books.

A million new species sounds amazing. How many of them will be trademarked by big pharma? lol How much do you reckon that boarded up house is on the market for...millions! 🤣👍

The models used in video generation and artwork are getting better at fooling the less computer literate (most people?) but they still have that telltale slightly off weirdness about them. Fortunately

I think that the whole AI thing is way overblown and will not replace real human interaction as far as meaningful content is concerned. Think about the amount of AI slop being created and rejected by anyone

I'm of the opinion that birthday parties, cakes and cards are just another way for marketing grifters to extract money from us all. Don't get me started on Christmas Easter mothers day fathers day! You

Never ceases to amaze me that the public swallow the nonsense of so called 'fiscal responsibility' from governments i.e. no money for public services but as soon as the war machine needs oiling the taps

The war machine is a wealth creator, but it doesn't generate wealth for the majority This is the root of the issue. Yesterday a British euro fighter shot down a drone (heading for Cyprus) update. Edit

We haven't been to Wales for years. It has a lot of industrial history for sure. We visited an coal mine that had been converted into a museum. Terrible working conditions for the miners back then.

It's interesting to think about how they would calibrate the pendulum. Imagine having that job? 🤣👍

Great photos of the Tower of London. Just curious. Did you get any warning on the fly app about flight restrictions? I'm assuming that the drone was inside the free fly zone.

Looks like a fascinating place. The pendulum thing sounds very heath Robinson.

Hivefest where only a few whales and devs can attend because it lasts a week and is on places hard to reach And costs a fortune Totally agree 👍

Meetups are great for motivation. I could sure do with some 😂 Spring is not far away so maybe I'll get a little more active after my long hibernation?

Hi Shani, thanks for the offer but unfortunately I'm otherwise engaged on the 21st in London. (70th birthday party) I'm in London full time now and rarely venture out of town. How are things with you?

It's quiet...to quiet lol Waiting for the scary monster to leap out.🤣

Just popped in to see how things are going. Good to see hive UK users are still holding steady regardless of price fluctuations.

Cool, I thought that they looked familiar. 👍 !BEER

The strong roots sketch is an interesting piece. I wonder if they have a colour version of it. I think I may have met this couple in Lisbon they do look familiar. Did they have paintings in the art exhibition

I've had some rewards from this initiative and had no idea about the process so thanks for sharing this information. Now we know what it does makes sense. 👍
