RE: Birds, Bees and Economies
The one child policy had a surprisingly little effect with this; there were so many exceptions, for example farmers and god knows what else, allowing something like 60% of the population to have more than

RE: The Sound of Silence, and how Tinnitus wrecks it all.
Yeah I've heard of that room. I think it's a myth, or, marketing, more than it is really a terrible experience. Given my tinnitus, it wouldn't be silent for me at all, so it wouldn't be any different to

RE: Hive Needs YOU... to be a better writer
Yeah agreed. Though I think it's not a bad thing to balance quality with a bit of context regarding loyalty, beneficiaries, and such. due to malaria. Not again! Take serious care...

What’s your thought on that? It would definitely be cool, if other people want it - like I said it's not the easiest to get things to me in China. Usually requires me to end up taking a day off work and

I mean I spent years writing about topics I previously knew nothing about. The discovery part was the best bit. I just had to make sure I was writing about it properly based on what actual professionals

Yeah doing it yourself also just has the benefit of solidifying those thoughts for your own benefit. Even for me, with music as my specialty, I still enjoy learning the basic 12-bar blues all over again,

I'll add you, though I don't see the point, I don't really communicate in Dm's at all unless provoked into it XD But yeah, what i'm talking about is really just a reminder of what STEMsocial is really

Happy Birthday! This is really quite amazing stuff. It's hard for me to talk about Hive to the typical outsider, because most people are put off by the word 'crypto'. But the more projects and initiatives

RE: Is it possible to offer too much value?
humility is one of the more positive words for sure haha. Yeah I mean I don't like to write trash, at least not knowingly. Clearly, neither do you! That's justification itself in my eyes XD

How about 'Howdy' or 'Hi-diddly-ho neighbourinos!' - These get my stamp of approval lol As for the weekly posting, I think any concept that can keep you writing consistently is probably a positive, so

This is one of the benefits of the communities system. You can spread your content out in different ones if your interested are diverse enough. I tend to make use of this just out of consideration really.

RE: The Calhoun Experiment: How Overcrowding Led to Social Breakdown and Abnormal Behavior in Mice
This is pretty fascinating. It's always interesting how easily we can connect the oucomes of these experiments with us humans and society. It seems like some fundamental features of societal behaviour

Love the additional points! I think at the end of the day, if the mindset leans more towards 'how can I make this better?' - then everything will improve rapidly. This comment is a good stepping stone

Great idea - I'm sure these things need practice. I've been writing for years and years and I wouldn't say I'm some master of literature at all. The journey is the fun part =)

RE: Research diaries #18: About inflation returning to normal levels
Haha and thanks for expanding on my question with this post! I've thrown my money into savings now with a surprisingly decent 3.2% AER, combined with very, very slowly adding into my HBD savings. Unfortunately

RE: The Sound of Silence, and how Tinnitus wrecks it all.
Geeze, sorry to hear his story... but yeah it's the absolute curse for anyone dedicating their lives to music. But I'd say it's worse in some respects than being say, a deaf musician or a blind artist.
