So I've been stuck for some time now and just recently I'm starting to get stronger again. I love this feeling when the weight that you were struggling so hard with before becomes light enough to rep out fairly easily. This is not just a passion, but a life style and comes with many benefits. For me personally I get to see how far along I've come and I know I have because the body doesn't lie. Being in the gym for me is a whole different world where I can get away from the stresses of normal life and if my body would allow it, I would be there way longer than I would normally be. It doesn't matter if I'm angry or sad, once I step foot inside and start doing my thing, all my troubles and worries go away.
Anyways, tonight I did some deadlifting and for a while have been stuck at around 184kgs/405lbs. I had to change up my workout a little because I was putting too much stress on my lower back making it hard to lift heavy or make any progress. What I did was focus on my form a little and with that, you have to go lighter. I had to move my hips back a little further so I can engage my legs with it more and after two weeks of doing so, it just felt right. It as also because every week, I would go to my max thinking that for some reason I could still go up or it would be easier. Patience is the key and I forgot that along the way. Taking two weeks from going all out and working on form brings me here to tonight at 202kg/445lbs.
