I think it is, the price is still low, I feel like it wants to go up, next to that I will keep saying that Steempower will only help you make more impact and recieve more interest.
And if all of us steemians buy steem now, the price will go up and therefore the steem that we just bought for a few cents will now be worth maybe way more...
When we buy steem this will also mean that your Upvote impact will be more so the reward for the author will be better what will keep the author engaged, but also your curation reward will be more...
So thats a WIN WIN right?
