Today I figured I would do some fall nails. The things you will need is sponge, nail file, nail polish remover, nail brush, and of course nail polish. The color I will be using is black, berry red, and rustic orange. Before you get started buff your nails it helps the polish stick to the nail bed better.
After I buff my nails I paint my nails black from the cuticle to the mid part of my nail. The paint does not need to look perfect at this moment we can correct it when all the polish is on the nail.
Then I take my berry red and paint the whole nail bed to blend it with the black this also helps make a blend effect.
Then I take my sponge and dab the rustic orange on the tips of my nails blending in with the berry red.
I like a little glitter on at least one of my nails this is optional but I think it makes the nails pop.
You can do this with or without glitter.
Now take your nail brush and nail polish remover I prefer 100% acetone and remove any unwanted nail polish that's on the skin. Now wait for nails to dry or you can apply gel on the nails.
This you will need a lamp, gel basecoat, and topcoat. I don't remember the wattage of my lamp but I leave my nails in for about two minutes to make sure it cures.
Put one coat of basecoat on switch lamp over to time set for 2 minutes or whatever your lamp prefers depending on your wattage. Place hand in lamp wait till light kicks off then put on topcoat repeat steps again. After lamp kicks off use gel cleaner or I use rubbing alcohol works the same and cheaper.
Here should be the results :)
The picture honestly does not do it justice as the camera on my phone is not very good. The colors are very vibrant and the gold glitter makes me think of diamonds. I was going to draw some leaves on my nails as well but I can not find my nail pens so as soon as I order more I will do some artwork on nails.
