Ode to the Chimpanzee
A Sonnet
by memeon
My chimpanzee, you inspire me to write.
How I hate the way you hide, sting and sting,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the hip offspring.
Let me compare you to a sanctuary?
You are more awesome, menacing and pink.
Ice bites the debris of February,
And wintertime has the clucking airlink.
How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your flip fingers and attitude.
Thinking of your great toenails fills my days.
My hate for you is the hep aptitude.
Now I must away with an awsome heart,
Remember my high words whilst we're apart.
