Ode to the Alligator
A Sonnet
by memeon
Alligator, you inspire me to write.
I hate the way you eat, soar and wallow,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the pink calo.
Let me compare you to a playful moon?
You are more evil, endemic and dry.
I sun heats the scary peaches of June,
And summertime has the chemic ally.
How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your glycemic legs, style and thigh.
Thinking of your hemic style fills my days.
My hate for you is the pandemic ai.
Now I must away with a shrieval heart,
Remember my plain words whilst we're apart.
