Ode to the Stone
A Sonnet
by memeon
My dreamy stone, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you bark, squeak and fly,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the tiny lye.
Let me compare you to a happy sky?
You are more sunny, beamy and bouncy.
Wild drought dries the lightpicnics of July,
And summertime has the creamy mounsey.
How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your personality and toe.
Thinking of your gleamy thumb fills my days.
My love for you is the excited flow.
Now I must away with a seamy heart,
Remember my clear words whilst we're apart.
