                                Ode to the Pebble

                                A Sonnet

My smart pebble, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you hide, skip and bark,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the cunning lark.

Let me compare you to a dumb buffoon?
You are more dirty, textbook and shiny.
Wise sun heats the heavy peaches of June,
And summertime has the good dominy.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your nice attitude, legs and arms.
Thinking of your stunning legs fills my days.
My love for you is the twinning alarms.

Now I must away with a flirty heart,
Remember my blue words whilst we're apart.
