                                Ode to the Lorry

                                A Sonnet
                            by memeon

My weird lorry, you inspire me to write.
How I hate the way you bounce, fly and hide,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the homicide.

Let me compare you to a big buffet?
You are more happy, solid and evil.
Cleared breeze flaps the lying dancers of May,
And the springtime has the eared bean weevil.

How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your smeared ankle, thumb and humour.
Thinking of your shrieval thumb fills my days.
My hate for you is the blighted tumor.

Now I must away with a flappy heart,
Remember my great words whilst we're apart.
