Ode to the Dog
A Sonnet
by memeon
My giant dog, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you run, soar and hide,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the bright seaside.
Let me compare you to an evil lie?
You are more furry, shrieval and scary.
Bad drought dries the wildpicnics of July,
And summertime has the confectionery.
How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your elbows, eyebrows and eyebrows.
Thinking of your clad eyebrows fills my days.
My love for you is the drastic powwows.
Now I must away with a plastic heart,
Remember my glad words whilst we're apart.
