Cinella handcrafted fanart

It's been a while since I've made a fanart of a Holozing creature. I've already shared with you some of them and I really like the results of the technique I work with.

Cardboard and handmade paper are very versatile materials that offer infinite possibilities for creation. If we add to that the colorful and creative design of the creatures in this set, the result can't be anything but wonderful.

This time I selected Cinella. Who doesn't love ladybugs? Those tiny and perfect insects are admired by everyone. So I leave my fanart for your consideration.

I share with you my creative process...who knows and someone gets inspired and makes their own 😉.

Hace bastante que no realizó algún fanart de una criatura de Holozing. Ya he compartido con ustedes algunos y en verdad me gusta mucho el resultado que ofrece la técnica que trabajo.

El cartón y el papel artesanal son materiales muy versátiles que ofrecen infinitas posibilidades para la creación. Si a eso le sumamos el diseño colorido y creativo de la criaturas de este juego, el resultado no puede ser otro que algo maravilloso.

Esta vez seleccioné a Cinella ¿A quién no le gustan las mariquitas? Esos insectos diminutos y perfectos son admirados por todos. Así que dejo mi fanart a consideración de ustedes.

Les comparto mi proceso creativo...quien sabe y alguien se inspira y hace el suyo propio 😉.

The first thing is to get a Cinella mold. I will do it the old fashioned way, tracing it. I don't have a printer at home, I've told you guys before. Then I will separate the mold into parts, which will be marked and cut out on craft paper. With acrylic paint I will color each one according to the design of the creature.

Lo primero es conseguir un molde de Cinella. Lo haré a la antigua, calcándolo. No tengo impresora en casa, ya se los he dicho en otras ocasiones. Después separaré el molde en partes, que serán marcadas y recortadas en papel artesanal. Con pintura acrílica daré color a cada una según el diseño de la criatura.

With all the parts painted, I will place pieces of cardboard of different thicknesses on the back to give volume to my creature. I will glue everything together as if I were putting together a puzzle. I will add the spots, antennae, eyes and finally I will glue it on a cardboard background previously lined with white craft paper.

Con todas las partes pintadas colocaré por detrás pedazos de cartón de diferentes grosores para otorgarle volumen a mi criatura. Todo lo iré pegando como armando un puzzle. Añadiré las manchas, antenas, ojos y finalmente la pegaré sobre un fondo de cartón previamente forrado de papel artesanal blanco.

My pretty Cinella will be framed in a small cardboard frame that I will mark, cut, line with craft paper and paint red to achieve a perfect contrast.

Mi linda Cinella irá enmarcada en un pequeño marco de cartón que marcaré, cortaré, forraré con papel artesanal y pintaré de color rojo para lograr un contraste perfecto.
