When we took a walk in the afternoon using our favorite motorbike, not far from our house, we found a collection of forest fruit that was very rare. If in our area this fruit is known as Gambutan Fruit, there are also those who call it Rambusa fruit.

When we found this fruit, this fruit was very abundant with lush trees on the side of the main road, with many people passing by there.

This Gambutan fruit when we were little thrived in our fields, but now it is very rarely encountered. This fruit thrives in tropical climates. Like in my area of course, Medan Indonesia.

The shape of this Gambutan Fruit is like Marquisa and rambutan, but its size is very small and the fruit is covered with a mosquito net or membrane surrounded by fine hairs that protect the fruit skin. And the taste of this fruit is very sweet.

But maybe that's the development of the times, when I was still at the elementary school level, when I saw this fruit, my friends and I immediately ran and competed to get this fruit, who got the most of this Gambutan fruit in large quantities, so that the fruit This Gambutan cannot be fully cooked, because we have taken it away to satisfy our naughtiness when we were children. However, the current generation does not seem to know this fruit, they are reluctant to even glance at it. Though this fruit is really on the side of the road and very easy to reach.

According to the opinion of some people this fruit is also efficacious for treating blood deficiency or anemia and antidote to cancer. Regardless of all that I am very happy to find this fruit. And of course reminds me of childhood memories.

This fruit is also very liked by small caterpillars, because this fruit has a sweet taste of course.
