RE: Gold Libertad BU 1/4 oz
I really like Mexican coins; it’s a shame they’re so hard to find in my country. My next collection theme will be Mexico!

RE: Half Crown 1946
Royal heraldry used to play a major role in old coins, but now that almost all countries are republics, almost everyone has gone for a minimalist design. Have you seen Polish banknotes? They’re really

RE: Half Crown 1946
What I miss in British coins is the German school's use of 0.900 silver 😉

hah... Sorry for the misunderstanding 😂 Despite being made of metal, the 5-schilling coin is a very attractive coin with a great design!

RE: Half Crown 1946
The 1946 Half Crown was still made from 50% silver, 40% copper, and 10% nickel. Half Crowns switched to copper-nickel composition starting in 1947.

RE: 5 Forint 1947 Lajos Kossuth
You can tell by its condition that it’s been passed around a lot. I wonder how many people owned it before me 😌

Recent times have also caused the price of historical coins to skyrocket, by as much as 100% in my country. Thanks for tips and comment!

I've just bought quite a large collection of British silver coins. Your grandfather left you a really lovely treasure!

😛 Can you guess what coin this is? Unfortunately, I can’t guess who gave it to you, I don’t know why, but I suspect it was Kerri. Thanks for your comment! 😊

RE: Mexican Gold Dos Pesos
A significant date from a collector’s perspective: 1945 marked the end of one of the greatest tragedies in human history, namely the Second World War. During the war, very few gold coins were minted 😌

RE: Belgium 250 francs 1976
I’m still wondering whether I’ll clean it. The coin’s just lying in the cupboard anyway and isn’t on display. I once had a gold rouble to clean, and I really had to be careful not to damage the details.

szeląg, "złoty", talar, dukat miały podobne wzory, nie takie same. Trzeba pamiętać, że wzorów było trochę do wyboru... w mojej głowie grafiki i tak byłyby małe, więc idealne wzory nie miałyby
